Contact me for more information about lessons and with any questions you might have. I require an introductory 20 minute lesson for $10. We can discover together what works best for your child (and you!). The lesson will give you and your child (and you!) a meaningful musical experience to help in your decision making process. Lessons cost $97 per month for a single individual, regardless of number of weeks in the month (e.g. four Tuesdays for five Tuesdays). I offer lessons on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

We will connect on your child’s growth and development. We will also discover your goals and expectations around lessons, as well as your child’s.
Goals for lessons
Your child’s goals matter. They will affect the way your child learns and practices, key components of any educational relationship. This will help everyone, parent, teacher, and child, develop appropriate and helpful expectations surrounding the lesson experience based on the child’s interests and motivation. For younger students like kindergarteners, a 30 minute lesson includes games and movement in order to help develop their skills at focusing and attending. I use games, movement and other interactive methods to work with the multiple intelligences of your child. Regardless of age and experience, I will tailor your child’s lessons to your child, specifically. I choose materials based on what I believe to be the best for the individual child, even giving them to opportunity to weigh in on their preferences and desires. Sometimes I will lend materials to the child until I determine what is the best course of action moving forward.

Lessons will be held at our home in Cedar Grove, about 7 miles north of Hillsborough. When you visit, you will experience this peaceful setting that provides a place to learn and grow alongside nature in a calm and relaxed environment. I provide you with directions when we set the introductory lesson time for your child and you.
